Just a few photos and the last post from our recent Northeast trip! Maine is seriously so beautiful. I had never been to Maine until a few years ago and have since been back three times. One of our favorite places to visit is the Portland Head Light {see our last trip here}. It so happens to be the oldest lighthouse in Maine. Set upon a high bluff, the lighthouse is surrounded by rolling hills and trails, perfect for an early morning adventure and a little picnic. Even though our time this trip was very brief, it’s always a delight to visit. I can’t wait to go back some day, hopefully soon.
I wore trusty jean shorts and this lovely fall blouse. I thought that it would be fun to share a few ideas on how to style the same blouse from morning till night. As you all know, we live in a small house, so space is limited, and I am also a mom to a toddler so I don’t have tons of time to pamper myself each day. Oftentimes, I put on the same blouse in the morning, pair it with something causal like shorts or jeans and flats and then switch things up in the evening when we are going out for a date or dinner as a family. Scroll down for some tips on how to style the same blouse at night. 🙂
This maternity chiffon blouse is beautiful to wear now, when the fall temps finally arrive, and even into the winter. And, it happens to be on sale, too. You can see more of A Pea in the Pod’s new arrivals HERE as well as some other recent maternity inspiration from my blog HERE and HERE! Hope that you all are having a great day! Xo, Christine
For a more evening look, change your lipstick color…I love Beautycounter’s lip sheer. You can also change into black skinny jeans, for example, wear fancier shoes like heals or fancy sandals {in my case…comfort is key right now}, or change up your hair and accessories! 🙂
