Happy Friday, friends! As we head into the weekend, I am SUPER EXCITED to share this tablescape that I created in partnership with Anthropologie and my sister, Caroline Potter! The holidays seems to have people running in a thousand different directions and trying to accomplish everything on their to-do list by checking it twice! 🙂 It seems that there is SO MUCH to do and SO LITTLE TIME! 🙂 However, amidst the hustle and bustle are the simple moments that we seem to cherish the most, memories that we will hold dear for years to come. For me, I love being home and creating memories with my loved ones around a cozy and festive dinner, the lights of the tree, and a Christmas movie or hilarious game night, or even a simple gathering of wine and cheese!
So, for today’s post, here is a little tablescape inspiration! When Caroline and I saw these festive and ADORABLE plates at Anthro, our creative minds got turning! They are perfect for a dinner party paired with a white dinner plate {white makes things POP}, a breakfast gathering, or even a simple wine and cheese night! Elements such as this beautiful gold runner, these battery-powered lights, these stunning vases, and fresh florals, really provide a lot of texture and create that full-look down the middle of your table! Speaking of florals, Trader Joe’s is my favorite place to pick up fresh flowers, and right now, they have such a huge selection of fresh greens, holly, and red berries, which I used here!
Really the simplest way to provide a festive flare and warm texture to your holiday gathering is to make arrangements of fresh greens, holly, and flowers!
And, how cute are these chubby mugs?! Not only are they perfect for a dinner party, but they are also ideal for a cozy movie night at home! Speaking of which, that’s what we will be doing tonight…this weekend couldn’t have come soon enough! Hope you all have the best weekend! And, thanks so much for stopping by! I truly hope that this gives you a little inspiration as you set your table for all the fun dinners and events ahead! xoxo Christine
